Aman Group Names Victor Clavell as Chief Operating Officer
Victor Clavell has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Aman Group, reporting directly to Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin. Based in Switzerland, Clavell will oversee global operations across Aman’s portfolio, including Janu, all properties, and business units, with a focus on operational consistency, guest experience standards, and financial performance. Clavell brings over 30 years of luxury hospitality experience across key global markets, having held senior leadership positions at brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, EDITION, W Hotels, Rosewood, and Urban Resort Concepts.

L'Oréal Secures Early Ownership of Gucci Beauty License
Kering has accelerated the transfer of Gucci Beauty’s exclusive 50-year beauty and fragrance license from Coty to L'Oréal by one year. Subject to regulatory approval, L'Oréal will become the long-term operator of Gucci Beauty from mid-2027, replacing Coty, whose license was originally due to expire in mid-2028. Coty will continue managing the business until 30 June 2027 and will receive approximately $400 million for the early transition, while L'Oréal will cover most associated transition costs. Having managed Gucci Beauty since 2019, Coty will use the proceeds to reduce debt, reinvest in its core prestige portfolio, and advance its "Coty.Curated" transformation, which consolidates R&D, sustainability, and supply chain functions while streamlining governance.

RH Expands Its Global Luxury Presence with RH London
RH has expanded its international footprint with the opening of RH London, its first location in the UK capital, housed within a restored 18th-century Uxbridge House in Mayfair. Developed in collaboration with Foster + Partners, the five-story flagship integrates retail, design exhibitions, hospitality, cultural spaces, gardens, and multiple dining concepts. The gallery presents RH’s collections alongside antiques, artefacts, and artwork by international artists. The opening follows recent expansion across major European cities, including Paris.

Hermès Set to Debut Haute Couture Collection in January 2027
Hermès has officially scheduled the launch of its highly anticipated haute couture line for January 2027, with a runway presentation during Paris Haute Couture Week. The project is led by Nadège Vanhée, the house's artistic director for women’s ready-to-wear, as confirmed by a company spokesperson. The initiative follows the French luxury house's initial announcement last year of its intention to enter the haute couture segment. To support this expansion, Hermès has been developing a dedicated specialized atelier, which is projected to eventually employ approximately 20 highly skilled artisans.

Louis Vuitton Revives the Classic Run Event
Louis Vuitton is reinstating its Classic Run, a historic automotive event first launched in 1993 and last held in 2012. The Dolomites Classic Run, scheduled for September 1–4, will bring together owners of 25 classic cars for a four-day rally across northern Italy, beginning at Villa Pisani near Venice and concluding at Monza ahead of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix. Participants will complete approximately 373 miles under regularity and time-control conditions before joining the Grand Prix opening. The event will conclude with a public exhibition of participating vehicles at Villa Reale in Monza. The winning team will receive a trophy designed by Sabine Marcelis, produced by Venini, and presented in a bespoke Louis Vuitton trophy trunk.

Mytheresa has launched "Mytheresa Out East," a customized Airstream mobile boutique traveling throughout the Hamptons until August 6. This experience-led retail activation reimagines the traditional storefront by bringing luxury curation and client services directly to select beaches, hotels, wineries, and restaurants. The mobile boutique offers private shopping appointments for top clients on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, featuring refreshments and gifting experiences, and is open to the public on Thursdays via walk-ins and on-site registration. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, luxury loungewear brand Eberjey has partnered with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection to debut an exclusive three-piece washable silk capsule. Marking the maritime operator's inaugural sleepwear collection, the collaboration features two women’s sets and one men’s pajama set designed in a custom "Memorable Blue" color with sophisticated navy piping and wave-inspired motifs. Retailing between $278 and $298, the resort-oriented collection is available via Eberjey’s website and onboard the Evrima, Ilma, and Luminara yachts.
