L’Oréal BOLD and Nykaa Partner to Invest in Indian Beauty Brands
L’Oréal's venture capital fund, BOLD, has partnered with Indian retailer Nykaa to acquire minority stakes in Indian beauty and personal care brands. According to the companies, the arrangement combines funding, L’Oréal's expertise, and Nykaa's retail and distribution capabilities while enabling founders to retain operational independence. The initiative expands on a partnership established in 2012, through which Nykaa distributes L’Oréal brands including Maybelline, Kiehl's, and La Roche-Posay. Separately, L’Oréal recently acquired a majority stake in Innovist, the parent company of Bare Anatomy and Chemist at Play, while Nykaa increased its stakes in Earth Rhythm and Aminu Skincare alongside its House of Nykaa portfolio.

Oura Seeks Up to $15 Billion Valuation in Planned Nasdaq IPO
Health technology company Oura Inc. has filed terms for its initial public offering, targeting a share price range of $40 to $44. The offering of 50 million shares, comprising 13.5 million primary and 36.5 million secondary shares, would value the smart ring maker at $12.8 billion at the low end of the range, or approximately $15 billion on a fully diluted basis. The valuation positions Oura ahead of global luxury and sportswear peers including Prada, valued at roughly $12.2 billion, as well as Lululemon Athletica and Dick's Sporting Goods, both valued between $11 billion and $12 billion. For the nine months ended June 30, 2026, Oura reported a 74% year-over-year revenue increase to $1.2 billion and net income of $60.8 million, with 5 million paid members across 56 markets.

LVMH Appoints Matthieu Soudan as Managing Director of Repossi
LVMH has appointed Matthieu Soudan as Managing Director of high jeweler Repossi, effective immediately. He succeeds Anne de Vergeron, who returns to her prior role as LVMH Group Director of Business Development after leading the maison as CEO since 2020. Soudan, who previously held key roles at Bulgari and TAG Heuer, will be based in Paris and report to Stéphane Bianchi, CEO of LVMH's Watches and Jewelry Division. In his new position, Soudan is tasked with driving Repossi's next phase of growth in contemporary high jewelry and expanding its international footprint.

Harrods Unveils Redesigned Menswear Designer Collections Room
Harrods has opened a redesigned Designer Collections room on the second floor of its Knightsbridge flagship to meet growing demand for a complete, lifestyle-driven menswear wardrobe. The room features six newly designed shopfits reflecting each brand's identity, alongside a central multibrand area designed to encourage browsing across the category rather than brand by brand. It also introduces a dedicated pop-up space for exclusive launches, seasonal stories and brand activations, and forms part of the flagship's ongoing multimillion-pound refurbishment program, which recently delivered the womenswear International Designer Rooms on the first floor.

Loro Piana Inaugurates Advanced Knitwear Complex in Piedmont
Loro Piana has inaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing complex in Ghemme, Italy, its first new plant construction since the 1990s. The site integrates most fully fashioned knitwear manufacturing stages under one roof, keeping expertise circulating across the production chain, and will develop yarns from baby cashmere, vicuña, cashmere and the ultra-fine merino wools behind the trademarked The Gift of Kings and Loro Piana Royal Lightness. The maison, led by CEO Frédéric Arnault, has also relocated its Loro Piana Accademia dei Mestieri to a dedicated building at the Ghemme site, training the next generation of artisans in techniques such as linking, hand-stitching and manual finishing.

Bentley Rolls Out New Retail Concept Across Global Network
Bentley Motors has unveiled a new global retail concept that replaces traditional linear showrooms with digitally enabled customer spaces. Debuting at London's Jack Barclay flagship, the modular design is expected to roll out across more than 220 retailers in over 60 markets. The concept replaces reception desks with a curved glass entry and bar and introduces lounge and gallery areas in place of traditional vehicle displays. At its center is the Atelier, where customers can combine physical material samples, including leathers and veneers, with a 3D digital configurator displayed on an LED wall. Additional features include an illuminated diamond-pattern façade, winged-logo architectural elements, Bentley Green accents, and dedicated vehicle handover zones. The retail concept was unveiled after the launch of Torcal, Bentley’s new model line and first fully electric vehicle.

Dior will unveil its Cruise 2028 line in Shanghai on May 14, 2027, under Creative Director Jonathan Anderson. The location references a key look from Christian Dior's 1948 haute couture collection, named "Shanghai," while signaling LVMH's strategic focus on reinforcing brand presence in China. Following a string of activations in the country, including the "Parisian Gardens" pop-ups running from Beijing to Shenyang, a cake-themed launch in Nanjing, and the "Miss Dior" exhibition in Shanghai, the show marks Dior's first major moment in China since Anderson took creative leadership.

Donatella Versace has partnered with digital retailer Revolve Group to launch a new fashion and beauty label, taking on the role of Chief Creative Officer. The joint venture pairs her design direction with Revolve’s digital marketing, operations, and e-commerce platform to connect with a new generation of global consumers. The brand will launch first in beauty before expanding into apparel across the U.S., Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
