Nurturing Futures: CXG’s Partnership with SOS Children’s Villages
Since 2016, CXG has proudly supported SOS Children’s Villages, including SOS Children’s Village Kaifeng in China, Basse Primary School in The Gambia, and SOS Pilipinas, contributing through various impactful fundraising efforts to respond to the growing needs of grassroots communities, bringing essential resources to communities in need.
This year, our fundraising efforts benefited one hundred twenty-three (123) individuals, including 84 children and young people from Tacloban, Philippines, who received nutritious meals, healthcare, educational resources, and personal development opportunities.
Tacloban, a highly urbanized city in the Eastern Visayas region, remains at risk of natural disasters and economic impediments. However, amidst the looming social and economic challenges of the city, SOS Children’s Village Tacloban continues to be a cornerstone for the Leyteño children who have lost parental care and the caregivers who provide steady parental care.
Over the three-month project period, SOS Pilipinas served 23,184 nutritious meals, provided regular medical check-ups, and delivered school supplies, which ensured the continuity of every beneficiary’s holistic growth and development. Moreover, the funding also provided safe shelter and care for elderly mothers and caregivers, reinforcing the importance of community and connection in times of need.
Our approach to fundraising is unique, leveraging multiple channels within CXG to maximize our impact. For each client testimonial we receive, CXG donates $50, and each client feedback response generates an additional $25 donation.
Additionally, each feedback submission through our training academy prompts a donation from CXG, alongside our internal team donations. These diverse channels enable us to strengthen the partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas, alongside consistently contributing to a cause we care deeply about.
It takes a village to raise a child and benevolent hearts to make it happen, and SOS Pilipinas and CXG partnership is a testament to it. Every dollar raised supports vulnerable children and families, offering hope, stability, and opportunity.
