LV’s Cruise Ship Inspired Retail Concept “The Louis” Launches in Shanghai
Iconic luxury brand Louis Vuitton launched “The Louis” in Shanghai, a retail and hospitality concept designed to resemble a life-size cruise ship. Located at HKRI Taikoo Hui, the three-story space features the “Visionary Journeys” exhibition, designed by OMA, which explores the brand's maritime connections and craftsmanship. The top floor includes Le Café Louis Vuitton, the brand’s first dining space in Shanghai, serving local and Western cuisine. “The Louis” opened its doors with a 24-hour event on the 26th of June, followed by general access as of the 28th of June. Reservations for the exhibition and café are available via WeChat Mini Programs.

CEO Gianfranco D'Attis Departs from Prada
Prada has announced the departure of Gianfranco D'Attis from his role as CEO, effective at the end of June 2025. The decision was made by mutual agreement. Andrea Guerra, CEO of Prada Group, will serve as interim CEO of the Prada brand until a permanent successor is appointed. D’Attis, who was appointed in 2022 during a period of structural changes within the company, previously served as president of Christian Dior Couture Americas.

Chanel Launches Arts & Culture Magazine
Chanel is launching "Arts & Culture Magazine" to mark the brand's 100th anniversary in the UK and to support printed publications. The magazine, led by Chanel’s Culture Fund and Yana Peel, Chanel's Director of Arts and Culture, highlights the brand's collaborations with artists and cultural institutions over the past five years. Designed to be a collector’s item, the 250-page English-language magazine, will be printed on a variety of paper types, and distributed in 20 independent and specialist bookstores globally. It features contributions from artists and creatives on the future of the arts and culture sector. To accompany the release, Chanel will take over the Foreign Exchange News until 28 June.

Anna Wintour’s Succession Plan Begins at Vogue U.S.
Anna Wintour will step down from her role as editor-in-chief of American Vogue, a position she has held since 1988. The announcement follows Condé Nast’s decision to create a new Head of Editorial Content role for the publication. The new appointee will oversee the magazine’s daily editorial operations and report directly to Wintour, who will continue to serve as Vogue’s Global Editorial Director and Chief Content Officer of Condé Nast. This change is part of a wider editorial restructure at Condé Nast and signals the beginning of a succession process for U.S. Vogue.

Elemis Fuels Aston Martin F1 Partnership with Exclusive Skincare
Skincare brand Elemis has deepened its association with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team by launching exclusive skincare collections. Elemis, who became the team's official skincare partner earlier in 2025, has introduced 4 limited-edition collections. These collections, presented in travel bags, include a range of skincare products such as face washes, resurfacing pads, serums, and moisturizers. Additionally, on race days, Elemis will offer experiential treatments at the Aston Martin Aramco Paddock Club Suite.

Hilton's Waldorf Astoria Launches Nile River Voyages
Hospitality brand Hilton is expanding into the cruise sector through its flagship luxury brand, Waldorf Astoria, which will launch Nile River cruises in late 2026. The "Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience" will offer 4-to-6-night voyages exploring Egyptian landmarks and historical locations between Luxor and Aswan, with private docking facilities at both locations. The ship will feature 29 suites across 5 decks, along with amenities like a fitness center, spa, and rooftop deck. Guests will enjoy fine dining, including Waldorf Astoria's Peacock Alley, and personalized concierge services.

Selfridges Debuts AI Fragrance Finder with Kaorium
Selfridges has introduced Kaorium, an AI-powered fragrance discovery system, at its Oxford Street flagship location. Developed by Toshiharu Kurisu, the technology uses AI to assess users' emotional responses to scents and recommends fragrances accordingly. The installation was introduced through a temporary pop-up between June 5 and 11 and has now become a permanent feature at the Thameen London counter in Selfridges.
