L'Oréal Issues €3 Billion Bond to Finance Kering Beauté Acquisition
L’Oréal has launched a €3 billion bond sale, split into three parts: A two-year floating-rate note, a five-year fixed-rate bond, and a long 10-year fixed-rate bond. The goal is to help finance its much-anticipated acquisition of Kering Beauté. These bonds are expected to start trading on Euronext Paris on November 19. This comes as L’Oréal prepares to pay €4 billion in cash to Kering when the deal closes, expected in the first half of next year, along with future royalties. The purchase of Kering Beauté adds to L’Oréal’s recent acquisition streak, including Aēsop, Dr. G, Medik8, and a minority stake in Amouage.

LVMH Acquires Minority Stake in La Joux-Perret
The LVMH Watches Division has acquired a minority stake in Swiss manufacturer La Joux-Perret. Based in La Chaux-de-Fonds and known for its high-precision mechanical and solar-powered movements, La Joux-Perret has already collaborated with several LVMH brands, including the development of TAG Heuer’s Swiss-made solar quartz movement. This investment strengthens LVMH’s industrial base in Switzerland and secures long-term access to advanced research and manufacturing capabilities across its watch portfolio. La Joux-Perret, a subsidiary of the Citizen Watch Group, will retain full independence and continue serving all clients. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Estée Lauder Companies Takes Minority Stake in Xinú Fragrance
Estée Lauder Companies has made a minority investment in Mexican perfume brand XINÚ through its New Incubation Ventures (NIV). Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2017, XINÚ creates premium artisanal fragrances inspired by the cultures and biodiversity of Mexico and Latin America, and is known for its distinctive half-moon bottles and design-driven storytelling. The move marks Estée Lauder’s first investment in a Latin American brand, underscoring its commitment to supporting emerging regional talent and innovative fragrance houses.

Balmain Names Antonin Tron as New Creative Director
Balmain has named Antonin Tron as its new creative director, succeeding Olivier Rousteing after his 14-year tenure. Tron, who founded his own acclaimed brand Atlein in 2016, will dedicate himself exclusively to Balmain. He will debut his first collection for the house in March for the Fall 2026 fashion season. Tron has extensive experience in major luxury fashion houses, starting in menswear at Louis Vuitton and later moving to womenswear at Givenchy and Balenciaga. He also worked with the design teams at Saint Laurent.

Hermès Appoints New Perfumes and Beauty Managing Director
Anne-Sarah Panhard has been appointed the new Managing Director of Hermès Perfumes and Beauty, succeeding Agnès de Villers, effective November 1st. Panhard previously served as Managing Director of Hermès Maison since 2018, overseeing decorative objects, tableware, and furniture, and heading the Puiforcat brand. Her prior roles included Managing Director of Hermès France and General Manager of the Paris flagship.

LVMH's Loewe Unveils New Casa Flagship in Paris
LVMH-owned fashion luxury house Loewe has officially opened its Casa Loewe flagship on Avenue Montaigne in Paris, completing its network of key Casa stores. This major expansion was undertaken to match the brand’s rapid global growth and strengthen visibility in one of the world's key fashion capitals. The Casa offers a complete selection of men's, women's, and home collections. The design of the Casa evokes an art collector's home, displaying unique furniture and artwork from the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize. Loewe plans to open a 2nd Paris Casa next year, followed by its first U.S. (New York) and Italian (Milan) Casa flagships in 2026.

Golden Goose Partners with Gemini AI for Sneaker Customization
Permira-owned brand Golden Goose is advancing its personalized "co-creation" service by partnering with Google Pixel and Gemini AI. This integration adds a high-tech digital component to the luxury brand's successful customization program, which started in 2022 with sneakers and later expanded to ready-to-wear. The new service allows customers to use Google Pixel devices to prompt the Gemini AI platform for personalized design ideas, generating a digital rendering that Golden Goose artisans then execute. This experience is available in 44 global stores.

Jacquemus Launches Le Valérie Collection
Jacquemus introduced "Le Valérie" bag, the newest addition to “Le Paysan" collection, unveiled simultaneously in Paris, Los Angeles, London, and New York. Named in tribute to the designer's mother and inspired by his rural heritage, the bag is available in two sizes, Le Petit Valérie and Le Valérie, and comes in various materials, including calf leather and suede. The launch events featured a market theme with customization options, including unique charms and initial embossing. Further launches are scheduled for Dubai and South Korea on November 19th. Additionally, Jacquemus will open a new boutique in Montecito's Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel on November 25th.
